The Wolf Dream

I had a dream.

In my dreams, I often attempt to become a wolf, but it seldom ever works, and it has been that way for decades. I deduced that my inner child felt unsafe playing in that way due to childhood trauma, but after some deep healing work, in a recent dream I took on the form of a beautiful brown wolf. This werewolf here is tending to my inner child, bridging the gap between the humans he fears being seen and hurt by and the form he avoided taking on for fear of judgment and exclusion.

There is mountains to be said about the value of a child feeling safe to be themselves, but I will let the art speak for itself.
